Andrew Scott, Chief Executive
Andrew joined the Bruce Mason Centre in March 2009, having served as the CEO at the Marlborough Civic Theatre for a number of years. Andrew’s lifelong passion is for theatre and the performing arts. Having spent many years performing in and producing community theatre in and around Marlborough and Wellington.
Andrew sees the linkages between the greater Auckland community and the Bruce Mason Centre as vital to creating a successful and sustainable performing arts, entertainment and conference centre venue for this region.
Greg Martin, Financial Controller
Greg is the Financial Controller for the Centre and secretary of the Trust, with extensive experience in the industry having been with the Centre for over twelve years.Greg has 30 years experience including chartered accountancy and as an accountant / finance manager in the corporate sector.
Lynda Barlow, Business Development Manager
Lynda Barlow is a local North Shore resident who has grown up and lived here on the Shore since a young age. Lynda has a great understanding and passion for Takapuna having owned her own business here in 2004. Lynda has worked for many large corporate companies over the past 14 years and brings with her extensive knowledge and experience in sales & marketing, customer service & hospitality.
Jep Savali, Operations & Production Manager
Originally from Wellington, Jep has resided in Auckland for over 10 years. He has travelled the country, leading teams in various management roles, in the private sector from Wellington, Palmerston North, Taranaki and Auckland. Recently he has been a self employed contractor in the event industry. In that time frame, he has project managed and has been responsible for putting together shows that range from major festivals, outdoor concerts ,fashion shows and community events. Jep has the ability to bring each show to life using all of his experience, knowledge and professionalism. He is very passionate about the entertainment industry. For the joy and sense of excitement each event brings. “I look forward to working with each client and trust that your time at the Bruce Mason is an extremely positive and memorable one.”
Terence Harpur, Event Co-ordinator - Auditorium
Terence is a local North Shore resident with a Bachelor of Business Studies from Massey University (2004). He spent 5 years in London working in event coordination and management at a major bank, completing a certificate in major event management from London City University in 2008, and travelling extensively. On his return to New Zealand, he joined the Bruce Mason Centre in March 2010 as the event coordinator for the auditorium. Terence is passionate about hosting spectacular events whether that is a music concert, theatre production, conference or gala dinner. He believes you are only as good as your last event and so is always looking to go that extra mile to make sure your event is a complete success.
Emily Harrison, Event Co-ordinator - Conference Centre
Emily grew up in East Auckland and has recently returned from her OE, living and working between London and Paris for three years. She joined the Bruce Mason Centre in June 2010 as the Conference Event Co-ordinator and bought with her a range of skills from her previous working experience. She has largely worked on the client side of events which gives her a great understanding of her customer’s needs and requirements, and will always go the extra mile to achieve success. She believes that customer service and trust-ability is key to a good working relationship and she strives to achieve this with every client who walks through our doors.
Donna Pressman, Event Co-ordination Administration
Donna has joined our team from the UK and has gained extensive experience in organising events of all shapes and sizes in England and New Zealand ranging from large Government conferences and exhibitions to private functions and weddings. Donna key function is working closely with our Event Co-ordinators on the back ground administration of events at the Bruce Mason Centre. From time to time Donna also project manages on behalf of the CEO special projects like the "My Way" Concert.
Sue Barnes, Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive
Sue works with the Chief Executive and team in an administrative role. Sue has experience in public relations, travel, merchant banking and franchising.
