World Class Auditorium

International, national and local artists enjoy performing in the Bruce Mason Centre's impressive auditorium. Its world-class acoustics and clear sightlines to the stage make it one of New Zealand's finest venues for the performing arts. A wide range of shows from orchestral concerts and musicals, to ballet, comedy, and children's shows are hosted regularly at the Centre. The auditorium has even been used to film live audience TV programs and music videos. The Auditorium has several possible modes and at maximum capacity seats 1164 theatre style. In this mode theatre seats 916 patrons in the downstairs Stalls, and 248 in the upstairs Grand Circle. Unique to the Centre is the ability to convert the auditorium to one of Auckland's largest flat floor banquet areas, capable of seating 600 guests. In this mode, the auditorium is ideal for award dinners, balls, exhibitions and gala functions. Technical Services
