Conference Facilities

More than simply a performance venue, the Bruce Mason Centre has six fully equipped meeting rooms and two spacious foyers. The conference area can cater for numerous events ranging from small board meetings to large corporate conferences, cocktail evenings and trade exhibitions.

The Centre offers conferencing facilities for 6 to 1164 delegates in several size adjustable rooms. Also offered by the Centre is a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) service accredited by Conventions and Incentives New Zealand, as well as an experienced event management team, on-site caterers and in-house technical staff to assist with creative ideas and themes.

Auditorium

Ideal for conferences, trade shows, product launches, expos or workshops, the Auditorium offers world class acoustics, unimpaired sightlines and the unique ability to be transformed from tiered seating to a large flat floor space.

Seating a maximum of 1164 delegates theatre style, up to 420 classroom style, and 500 for banquets, the Auditorium offers amazing spatial versatility.

Conference Centre

The upstairs Conference Centre is capable of seating 300 delegates theatre style as one room, or can be divided into three smaller rooms by sound proofed panels.

All rooms in the Conference Centre are air conditioned. They have natural light, dimmable recessed lighting, electronic blackout facilities and are internally wired for audio-visual and data feeds. The conference area is also a Telecom Wireless Hotspot, enabling Xtra customers to log into their account via their laptop. And if you’re not an Xtra customer, pre-paid cards are available from the Ticketmaster Box Office in the lower foyer.

Meeting Rooms

The Centre's two meeting rooms, Bovis Lend Lease Suites 1 and 2, combined together can seat 70 delegates theatre style, or 50 and 20 respectively as individual rooms.

With glass frontage to enhance their open plan design, these rooms are popular for those holding more intimate events with a smaller number of attendees.

Professional Conference Organiser (PCO)

The Bruce Mason Centre is able to provide a full Professional Conference Organiser service accredited by Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ).

Event Management

From the moment you book with us an event management team will be assigned to your conference. The event co-ordinator will assist with all client needs from organisation of the conference through to successful completion. Timely, accurate information is provided from a team dedicated to exceptional service and conference support.

Catering

Our partnership with international catering company, Compass Group, offers clients the highest quality service. A selection of creatively designed menu options is available, tailored to clients needs. From small corporate functions and superb conference lunches to gracious weddings and large banquet style dinners for 500 guests, the possibilities are endless.

Technical Services

The Centre has a very strong technical team utilising state of the art technology. The Centre offers a full range of services from production support to audio-visual requirements. The Operations team are happy to make suggestions and work with the event co-ordinator to design a package to suit your conference needs.

Accommodation

North Shore City offers an extensive range of accommodation ranging from comfortable motels, to corporate motor inns and a new four-star hotel all within walking distance.
